| And just like that it’s December, get out the tree and decorations,
As we prepare ourselves for the joy and fun for upcoming celebrations.
This poem allows me to thank you, for all the work you’ve passed my way,
Such variety, I never know what I’ll be dealing with on any given day.
All kinds of cases you’d never imagine, there’s rarely a dull moment in HR,
From simple questions to employee requests that border on bizarre!
I really am so grateful and next year I’ll continue to take pride,
In the professionalism and quality of the support that I provide.
It’s been a tough year once again for many, and sadly every day we’re seeing,
People struggling and requiring help to look after their own well-being.
So, I hope that you don’t mind, but as 2021 will soon be ending,
I’ve decided that no Christmas cards and gifts I will be sending.
Instead by receiving this poem, sent with sincere best wishes from me,
Know I’ll be donating £5 for each of my clients to the MIND charity.
Not only will the donation help but I hope also serves as a reminder too,
That you need a break every now and then to spend some time on you!
So, from Ami, here’s hoping you get some time to relax and convalesce,
